HUMAN - LIVE COLOGNE, GERMANY - 19 AUG 2001

Appearing at the Popkomm Festival  on 19th August 2001, mid Secrets release the band perform a quite emotional version of "Human".

From the album Crash of 1986, "Human" was the only real success and is the bands second biggest ever hit; it was their second number one single in the USA in 1986.

Often quite a difficult track to do at a festivals because of the sudden downturn in mood and sadness of the lyrics, at Cologne the weather is on the band's side blowing smoke around the stage setting the mood. As they get into character a call from the audience makes Joanne break character and smile. Susan appears to have fortune on her side, as the wind blows though her hair at just the right points  in the song.

Although Philip dislikes performing ballads "Human" is always popular live because it is simply a timeless track.
