FILLING UP WITH HEAVEN - 1995

"Filling Up With Heaven" was the third single taken from the 1995 gold selling Octopus Album. After the top 20 successes of the first two singles it was slightly less successful.  It received considerably less airplay when it was shunted down the various radio stations' play lists by a rush of more prominent tracks. Even so at 36 in the singles chart it was by no means a flop.

Compared to the music videos of the first two singles under label EastWest this one was a much simpler (and cheaper ) production; it is also one of the band's most visually underrated videos. Although filmed in a minimalist studio with very little in the way of sets or props other than studio equipment, the colors have been richly enhanced and the resolution dropped to create a 'smudge' effect. Susan now has a cute blonde ponytail (which would go for Secrets and then return in 2003) and unlike her often intentionally dour on screen character in some music videos she appears much more 'girly' than usual.

After the contract with EastWest ended this video would be placed under virtual lock and key by the label. Because of a licensing dispute between EW and Virgin it was not included in the Greatest Hits DVD of 2004. It is only very rarely aired on Music TV stations.
